1. What we use

A cookie is a small value stored by your browser. This website also uses browser storage for selected functions. The source currently uses:

Essential sign-in cookies: empire_guest_access, empire_guest_refresh, empire_guest_profile and empire_guest_manage. These support the guest account and reservation-management experience. They are set when you sign in or register, and are HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure in production. Their lifetimes follow the session or a 30-day refresh/profile lifetime.
Consent preference: empire_cookie_consent records your chosen categories and decision/expiry timestamps. It expires after 30 days.
Local storage: empire-display-currency remembers the selected currency and empire-display-currency-rates caches exchange rates for up to 24 hours. These values are written only when Functional preferences are enabled. They are not cookies.
Tab session storage: empire-property-partnership-draft may keep early, non-contact answers in the Work With Us form while Functional preferences are enabled. It is limited to the current browser tab and excludes contact details and photos. It is removed when that permission is withdrawn or when an inquiry is submitted. Session storage is not a cookie.

2. Optional cookies

We do not currently use advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies. The consent banner lets you record a preference for optional cookies. Accepting optional cookies does not enable a tracking service that is not present. If optional technologies are added later, this policy and the consent behavior must be updated first.

3. Managing your choice

Your choice is saved for 30 days. You can change it at any time using this control: . You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset your currency preference.

4. Third-party requests

Property inventory, photos and reservation operations use the Regent booking service. Exchange rates are requested from Frankfurter. These are API requests rather than cookies set by this site. Hosting providers may use technical cookies or process request metadata; confirm the production configuration and disclose any such cookies here before publication.
